I'm a Winner...

So,

In Okinawa, they have these great ice cream's (popsicles are included in that phrase).

I look for the "lactose ice" ones, and there are actualy a lot that are dairy free (prasie the Lord!)

On certain ice creames, the package will say "you could be a winner!" on it, and if you get a popsicle stick that has kanji on it, you WIN!!!!

I WON!!

(not the most flattering picture, but i was truely thrilled to death that i won in this photo)
This was my first time winning!! it's really exciting and such a blessing to win, because that means you get a FREE icecream!!!
Praise the Lord for good times.

Paddle Boarding

Paddle boarding is this great invention that we like to use here in Okinawa.

You get on a giant surfboard, swimm out a bit (not to much, "you go to far you die"), and then stand up and paddle around with your paddle! It's great!

Some of us got pretty creative (Tim breakdancing!)

We went to a spot called Toguchi, and camped out all day. The water was really warm, even though the sun never came out.

This rock is well known, and when you look at books about Okinawa (like if your visiting) it has a picture of it.

This was also the day that both Mellissa and Kelsi left for home (California). I didn't get a shot of Melissa (would have been to sad! she cried...), but i got a few last shots with Kelsi.

I think our height difference is hilariouse (she looks so tiny next to me!)

This was a huge roller slide that we all slid down. They have the best slides here.

I jumped off of this rock (on the other side). it was scary! but i did it twice!

On to "big" things

God is big, His plans are big, His love is big.

I am heading off to South Korea for 3 months to serve at the church in Daejeon!

Bought my ticket for the 3rd of June, and all is in place to go.

Thank you for your prayers, they are powerful ^_^

We had our semester banquet, our finals, and graduation for three students (congratz Rusty, Iza and Nathan!). Now everyone is heading off to new and big exciting things.

'Wonder what's in store...
