Two weeks ago, we went to Pineapple park!
We learned the history of Pineapples here in Okinawa, where they used to be really the only place to get them (it was like, the Pineapple kingdom!).
(those are pineapples growing all in those bushes!)We had loads of fun, there are two whole rooms filled with either cookies, juice, candies, and cakes, that are somehow mixed with the Pineapples. There were free samples, and we all chubbed on 'em.
(these were traditional Okinawin cookies, they tasted sooo good)There was also a PANCAKE factory!! They had a window so you could see how they made them. They put a paste inside, that was different flavors.
I tried Umi-Budo, which is fish eggs, of sorts. it didn't taste bad, but it was weird!! it pops in your mouth, and its sorta slimey, but not really. It's definetly something to try while your hear! its a delicacy to them, so i felt privaleged.
(Pineapples are cute! But Pineapples are mean! ABUNAI!!)
